Acronis Snap Deploy 6

Objective:
To implement Acronis Snap Deploy 6 within the IT environment to facilitate efficient deployment and reliable backup of critical production computing devices, ensuring uniformity, data protection, and operational continuity.
 

Scope:
This project will cover the following activities:
 

1. Acronis Snap Deploy 6 Setup and Configuration:

   • Install and configure Acronis Snap Deploy 6 on the designated deployment server.

   • Create a master disk image of the desired operating system and software configuration.
      

2. Network Integration:

   • Configure network settings to enable seamless deployment of disk images across production devices.

   • Set up PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) for network-based deployment.
      

3. Device Preparation and Deployment:

   • Identify and prepare critical production computing devices for image deployment.

   • Deploy the master disk image simultaneously to multiple devices, ensuring uniform system configurations.
      

4. Backup and Recovery Implementation:

   • Set up scheduled backups of critical production devices to safeguard data and configurations.

   • Test recovery workflows to validate the effectiveness of backup processes.
      

5. Testing and Optimization:

   • Conduct testing to ensure successful deployment and system functionality across all targeted devices.

   • Troubleshoot and optimize deployment processes to address any issues.
      

6. Training and Documentation:

   • Train IT staff on using Acronis Snap Deploy 6 for ongoing deployment and backup tasks.

   • Provide comprehensive documentation, including setup procedures, deployment workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
      

Deliverables:

• A fully configured Acronis Snap Deploy 6 environment integrated with the existing IT infrastructure.

• All critical production computing devices deployed with consistent configurations and backed up securely.
